It's probably one of the best jobs in the world - to be a presenter for a travel show. Every time my TV is on Discovery TLC or Nat Geo Adventure I start wishing I could work for a travel show of some sort. I'll make do with this travel blog and making personal travel videos for now, but here is a list of my favorite travel shows, and five (technically six) of their presenters whom I would love to travel with.
Anthony Bourdain
No Reservations, The Layover, Parts Unknown
He'd probably be a common choice as he's widely known for his wit and dry, sarcastic humor. And while I agree that those things make him an ideal travel companion, the main reason why I would choose to travel with him goes down to just a single thing: his absolute love for pork. A love we share. I’m looking forward to his new show on CNN, Parts Unknown.
Where we'd go: he did say the Filipino lechon was the "best pig ever", so I'd love to travel around the Philippines and the rest of Southeast Asia with him. No Reservations also had an interesting episode about Uruguay which I loved.
Samantha Brown
Passport to Europe, Samantha Brown's Asia
I imagine traveling with her would probably be a lot like traveling with a perky, wealthy mother figure – it’d be a very tourist-y trip for sure, which won't always be a good thing, but the best part? You won’t have to cough up a penny as she’ll definitely be spending for the both of you. And if the hotels she stays in on her travel shows are any indication, you'll be in for the good life on the road. Don't forget about the shopping, too!

Where we'd go: I'd go with her to Europe, because I wouldn't mind being a tourist in Europe, staying in a hotel in Paris with a view of the Eiffel Tower and all (I'll do the off the beaten path trip on another visit). Also to Morocco, to go shopping at the souk in Marrakech.

Departures
Along with A Map for Saturday, the show Departures always, always makes me want to grab my passport and backpack, and just go. I think it helps that these shows epitomize twenty-something travel - the guys behind them are young, free-spirited, and willing to rough it out in strange and exotic destinations. But behind all the action and adrenaline, their reflections on traveling and giving up everything to go around the world are rather inspirational, too. Scott Wilson and the rest of the team behind Departures are also film school graduates, and the show is shot beautifully, with awe-inspiring landscapes and sceneries.
Where we'd go: Ethiopia, Jordan, Tibet, and other relatively exotic destinations. Also parts of South America, including climbing up to Mt. Roraima!

Janet Hsieh
Fun Taiwan, Fun Asia
She seems like such a nice girl, and she's always smiling and cheerful in her shows. She's also fluent in both Mandarin and English. But she's also smart - apparently she graduated in MIT. AND she plays the violin really well. Why are Asians who grow up in America so extremely multi-talented? Amazing!
Where we'd go: Taiwan (where she's from and what her show is about) and the rest of Asia.
Bradley Cooper
This isn't a cop out so I could put a really hot actor on this list! Bradley Cooper did in fact start out as a presenter for Globe Trekker, in particular for Treks in a Wild World. Here he is visiting a nudist beach in Croatia, though Bradley himself is fully clothed, (un)fortunately. (He does go skinny dipping at the end of the clip, but it's all in silhouette. Bummer.)
Where we'd go: Maldives, Palau, Amanpulo - I'm saving all the honeymoon spots for this guy. Oh, and anywhere where he can be shirtless all day. And isn't he fluent in French? In which case, include France on that list too!

I love watching Samantha Brown's show but I love Bridget Marquardt's show more. I love the beach so maybe that's the reason why Bridget always has me glued to the TV set LOL. Nice info about actor Bradley Cooper
You can certainly see your skills within the article you
write. The sector hopes for even more passionate writers such as
you who are not afraid to mention how they believe.

Turistra Trails: That's Bridget's Sexiest Beaches right? I hear it's quite popular among male viewers! Haha. I guess she's the female equivalent of Bradley Cooper, in a way. Thanks for visiting! :)
